Learning Every Facet of the Industry

Krunal's journey was never confined to a single role.

He worked across sales, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory management, product development, quality control, exports, imports, wholesale distribution, and business development. Every position offered valuable insights into the jewellery business from the ground up.

Rather than specializing in one department, he chose to understand the complete journey of a diamond—from sourcing and grading to designing, manufacturing, and finally reaching customers around the world.

The Early Years

His professional journey began with exposure to international jewellery markets through Grace Jewels, where he marketed wholesale diamond jewellery across Europe, including London and Birmingham. During this period, he also worked with certified loose diamonds while gaining valuable experience in international trade and customer relationships.

He later joined Suresh Brothers, where he immersed himself in jewellery production, handmade craftsmanship, costing, quality control, and product development. Working closely with manufacturing teams gave him an in-depth understanding of how exceptional jewellery is created.

This was followed by experience with Ratilal Tribhuvandas & Mitul Gems, where he specialized in certified and non-certified loose diamonds, serving domestic and international buyers while attending prestigious global trade exhibitions.

These formative years laid the technical and commercial foundation that would shape the rest of his career.

Becoming a Diamond Specialist

As the years progressed, Krunal moved into increasingly specialized leadership roles.

At Kantilal Chhotalal, he managed purchasing for fancy-shaped diamonds and certified solitaires while overseeing quality grading, market analysis, vendor development, and inventory planning.

His expertise continued to grow at Leo Schachter Diamonds India, where he handled the purchase and sale of GIA and IGI-certified diamonds, managed million-dollar inventories, developed vendor networks, and worked closely with international buyers.

Working with one of the industry's respected diamond companies refined his understanding of sourcing, quality assurance, and large-scale diamond procurement.

Leading International Operations

His leadership abilities led him to C. Mahendra Exports, where he headed the Solitaire Division.

Here, he managed certified and non-certified solitaire inventories, developed international business across Israel, Antwerp, China, and Korea, established new supply chains, and represented the company at major international diamond exhibitions, including the Hong Kong Jewellery & Diamond Show.

Beyond buying and selling diamonds, he focused on mentoring teams, building efficient systems, and developing long-term business relationships worldwide.

Building Business in Dubai

In 2016, Krunal expanded his journey to Dubai by joining Diamaison DMCC as Branch Manager.

Over the following years, he led wholesale business development, managed branch operations, supervised imports and exports, coordinated banking and inventory, ensured regulatory compliance, and developed partnerships with jewellery retailers across global markets.

His ability to combine operational excellence with customer relationships helped strengthen the company's international presence.

The Birth of Orah Star Jewels

In 2023, Krunal began leading Orah Star Jewels LLC in Dubai.

Drawing upon more than two decades of international experience, he built Orah Star Jewels on a simple philosophy:

Today, he oversees business development, sourcing, inventory, exports, customer relationships, and strategic growth while continuing to personally guide clients in selecting certified diamonds and creating bespoke jewellery.
